BUMS, LEGS, TUMS AND EVERYTHING ELSE!

Monday           Lakelands Sports Centre            7.00 pm – 8.00 pm          £5.50

Six weeks of step and then 6 weeks of aerobics or sometimes salsa, occasionally a combination just to keep you on your toes. We finish with some body conditioning using weights and resistance bands and then work on the floor on abdominal and back muscles followed by a relaxing flexibility stretch.  This class burns fat, increases muscle tone, improves posture and is great fun.

Discover the magic of Pilates.  A conceptual approach to movement and exercise invented by Joseph Pilates in the 1920’s.  Each exercise is designed to lengthen, strengthen and tone muscle, improving posture and body shape.  Abdominal and back muscles become stronger, stabilizing the spine and bringing balance and poise to the whole body.  Exercises are carried out standing, kneeling, on all fours, lying on the side and on the back.  The class is finished with a period of relaxation. WHAT TO WEAR AND BRING

Wear unrestrictive clothing e.g. work out pants, leggings, shorts, tee shirts, sweat shirts, trainers for aerobics and body conditioning, socks for Pilates. Bring a mat and water to drink for all classes and a small hand towel for Pilates. There are mats at Lakelands.  It is OK to have a light snack up to one hour before a class and please don’t smoke for one hour before or after a class.

PLEASE REMEMBER

Always discuss with me any concerns you have before, during or after any of the classes.  Exercise can be adapted to suit any individual, never work through pain.  Talk to me and we can find the right class, pace or exercise for you.  Just phone, email or chat to me when it suits you.

PAYMENT AND FORMAT

All classes run in the same 6 week blocks and must be booked and paid for in advance.  Once classes have been booked no refunds will be given.  Please don’t book for classes that you are not sure you can attend.  If you find you can unexpectedly attend a class, contact me and pay on the night.
